Nordic Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases
The Annual Meeting of the Nordic Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases consists of plenary lectures, symposia as well as a poster exhibition. The event organizers now call for poster abstracts. The deadline for abstracts is 2 May 2016. Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding authors by 23 May. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Review Board. Accepted abstracts will be printed in the abstract book included in the congress material for all attendees. Abstracts should be written in English, consist of text only (no pictures, tables or graphics), and not exceed the length of 300 words. Posters will be on display during the whole event, and the authors are expected stand by their posters for discussion and questions during breaks. Maximum and recommended poster size A0 (841×1189 cm), vertical orientation / portrait.Please note that for each accepted abstract at least one presenter should register for the congress and pay the registration fee. The registration deadline for accepted presenters is 15 June 2016 (early bird deadline). Abstracts without a registered presenter by this date will be removed from the programme, handouts and other materials.
Poster abstract submission for NSCMID 2016 is now closed. The organizers thank all submitters. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding authors by 23 May. For invited speakers the link to the online submission system has been sent separately.
Travel grants (500 €) will be available for authors with an accepted poster abstract. If you wish to apply for a travel grant, tick the appropriate box on the online abstract submission form.
The travel grants will be awarded by the abstract review committee; applicants will be informed about the decisions by the end of May. The grants will be paid out against receipts after the congress. Acceptable costs for travel grant are flight, train, bus fares as well as hotel costs.
